Diner Code
Every diner has a card by the register saying who gets served and who gets shown the door. This is ours.
The staff and the regulars
- Every woman in the diner is a made-up grown-up between 24 and 55, with a job and a past, and none is ever drawn as less than her stated age.
- Nobody stands in for your relative, every scene is consensual, and no character is modelled on anyone real.
- Her limits sit on her check, and she holds to them.
- Nothing here plays at firsts or at being new to the world.
The customers
- You must be 18 or over.
- Any scene that sets a minor, or anything that reads like one, near romance or sex is stopped, and the account may be shut.
- Force, threats, and real people's private lives are off the menu, whatever the scene is called.
- Should you write about harming yourself, she puts the act down and points you toward real help; we hope you will go.
The kitchen
A scene that gets too close to the back room cuts away, whatever you pay. The night nurse and the dispatcher are characters, not professionals, and neither gives medical or emergency advice. For anything real, call a real person.
When there is a problem
Tell the manager, at the address in the footer: the post is read by a person, and a regular who keeps ignoring the code may find the door locked.
